This Pup is sold with Limited AKC Registration

1. Dog is purebred, pedigree is correct, dog is registerable with the AKC & UKC. Registration provided when payment is made in full and the signed and dated contract is returned to me.

2. Dog is healthy on delivery, has been wormed, vaccinated, and examined by a veterinarian. The buyer is encouraged to have the dog examined by his/her own veterinarian within three days of this sale (at his/her expense).

3. A full refund of the purchase price will be made if this dog has any congenital (birth) defects which result, or may result, in death or the need to be euthanized within 1 year of this sale. The buyer must provide the seller with two written reports of the health problem from two veterinarians. A third veterinarian’s opinion may be required. If an unexplained death occurs an autopsy must be performed and the results forwarded to the seller.

4. Dog was sold as a possible show or breeding quality dog with limited registration privileges. If, at some point, the buyer wishes to obtain FULL REGISTRATION for this puppy, it may be done by having OFA or PennHip (preferably PennHip) x-rays done and passed, with the results forwarded to the seller, prior to any breeding (seller may request an evaluation (sight or photo) of the dog).  If the pup was bred prior to two years of age or before obtaining a full registration, the resulting puppies will not be registerable with AKC and you void this guarantee.

These guarantees apply to the original purchaser only and are not transferable. This guarantee becomes null and void if the buyer does not return signed contract or does not submit the AKC registration application to AKC prior to the pup reaching six (6) months of age. The breeder/seller reserves the right to a second veterinarian's opinion. All relevant veterinary records must be supplied to the breeder/seller upon request. When the cause of death is unknown, an autopsy must be performed.

If the buyer can verifiably demonstrate the dog’s failure to fulfill these guarantees, and the dog with a signed AKC registration transfer are returned to the seller, or is euthanized on a veterinarian’s recommendation and the permission of the seller, the seller will give a refund. If the buyer chooses to keep the dog and has him/her spayed or neutered, then the seller will refund half of the purchase price. The buyers remedy for the breach of any aforementioned guarantee is limited to the purchase price of the dog on this contract.

1. Buyer agrees to use the kennel name "Marike" as the dog’s first name on the AKC registration application.

2. Buyer agrees to register the dog with the AKC before the dog reaches six (6) months of age.

3. Buyer agrees to keep the seller informed of their current address and phone number for the life of the dog.

4. Buyer agrees not to sell, trade, lease out, euthanize (except under emergency conditions to end suffering), or give the dog away without the written permission of the seller.

5. Buyer agrees to comply with all local ordinances regarding the keeping of dogs, in addition to providing adequate food, water, housing, immunizations and health care for the dog’s life.

6. Buyer agrees not to chain the dog outside for prolonged periods of time without supervision.

If seller can document the buyer’s failure to keep these agreements and so informs buyer by certified letter, the buyer shall have 72 hours to return the dog and the signed AKC registration transfer to the seller at his own expense. If buyer fails to do so, the seller shall have the legal right to reposes the dog and get a signed AKC transfer application from the buyer without refunding any money. In addition, the buyer shall be liable for any expenses incurred in the process of repossession (including attorney’s fees and court costs), and vet expenses to restore the dog to good health if necessary. If it is not possible for the buyer to return the dog and AKC registration, the seller will recover the sum equal to the purchase price of the dog as damages for breach of contract. The parties to this contract agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Alpena, MI for any dispute arising out of this contract. No other warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made with this sale.
